Ammo is loaded, starting to throw the little forgettable stuff in a pile...... Don't worry. If you forget your ammo, I'll loan you a .270  The .44 mag and .38-55 #1's are sorted out. It was hell getting the .38-55 on target with warmish 255gr loads in a 26" barrel, but it's there now. I had another misfire with Dad's 03A3, which I am still trying to sort out. His #1 in .30-06 may make the trip instead. So I may bring only Ruger #1's this trip. Maybe a loaner of one sort or another.

Hey Dan. Are you fixing brisket again this year? Got to thinking about last years dinner and my mouth started to water.  Only one rifle to shoot on Friday then decide which one of the three to cull. Also have to bug spray the hunting clothes. Checked today's weather in Crystal City and it was 85*. Damn sight warmer than here. Counting the days.

Our friend Ranger Green arrived at Tonto with 50# of Italian sausage from the place in the town (Parkside Market in Pitttsburg Ca) where I was born and raised. Best stuff bar none. What a guy.
