Except Hornady doesn't load the 162 in factory guise.
Does any other manufacturer have a 7mm08 factory load that beats the BC of the Hornady 150 ELDX? Probably not, but this is the reloading forum, so...

I'm using the 162 in my brother's 7mm Rem Mag. I looked at the 162 for the 7mm-08 but I like the additional velocity I get with the 150.

I'm sure the 150s will be nice, but the small amount of velocity increase over the 162s doesn't increase the down range performance. The 162s will beat it in wind drift at all ranges. Probably not enough to matter inside 400 yards though.

A .670 BC at 2750 ain't bad. The 180 might be worth a look, too, depending on the numbers Hornady settles on.

I got right at 2800 fps at 2.987" OAL. No pressure signs.

Dunno yet, I just popped a few off over the chrono in the back yard.
I posted over on the rifles board, so keep an eye out there.

Pharm, just curious (seriously), what are you trying to accomplish with this load that you haven't already accomplished with the handful of super accurate partition/,accubond, and BT loads you already have? P

Photobucket is the devil, else I'd post the most recent targets.
Safe in my rifle only, not recommended in yours:
46.2 grains Big Game 150 ELDX WLRM R-P brass 2.183" BTO 2789 fps
Under .5 moa, I'll start shooting at distance when the fire danger permits.

Get a Imgur.com account. That is what I did when Photoshop started screwing us. Super easy and a way better platform than Photoshop - free too!

P Be careful - you might get some hotrodder comments from the gallery - PS - I can get 2800 with that same bullet as well....

In the 7-08 I've found that Big Game is one of the "wonder powders" that actually delivers book speeds, and often with outstanding accuracy.

I went shooting Thursday after work. Instead of the Superlite I took my main T3 Lite stainless, also in 7mm-08. I usd the same 150 ELDX loads that shot well in the Superlite and got a .163" 4-shot group. Looks like I'm done messing around for awhile.

Bump this back to the top. Any new information to share?
I loaded some rounds last night with RL15 and some with RL16. Hope to shoot them soon. I also have IMR 4350, 4064, Big Game and Varget on hand. Open to suggestions. Really want to stay above 2750 fps, but accuracy above all else.

Anxious to hear your feedback for the REL 26 loads. I've got the Rel 26 and the bullets but it may be awhile before the winter up here in Northern Michigan will allow me to shoot.

I’m using pharmseller data for my 150 loads. I do have to seat my bullets deeper than he is. I did up my charge to 46.5 gr of biggame.
Then STFU. The rest of your statement is superflous bullshit with no real bearing on this discussion other than to massage your own ego. Suckin' on my titties like you wanted me.
