Sure it was a .45? Maybe smaller so less recoil, like .38 Super????

You can already see an empty flying from his 45 and the guy being hit before the glass breaks.

Seeing that guy in the shop, I think of Woodrow Call and his statement " I hate rude behavior in a man! I won't tolerate it! He sure looks like Captain Call!

When the old guy starts shooting, he's off camera. If you watch carefully, it appears for a split second that he's getting up. Can't really tell for sure, though.I think he shot through the case. No glass came his way at any rate.

I wonder if a round from the bad guys hit a wall or the ceiling near the camera, the dust from the drywall might have made it look like the store was full of smoke/dust.

Looked like his first shot went threw the glass case and hit the Perp too. Good shooting! I'm betting the clerk was a steel plate shooter or former LEO.

Dude was right under the camera, 3' away. Smoke's just clouding the camera, not the whole room, IMO.

Looked like he shot him through the glass display case. Smart. Great outcome. Too bad he didn't get both.

Doesn't seem like the typical reaction from a pistol round, I wonder if it was a head or spine shot?

It was obviously something that mattered.

There's a national trend for overnight burglary of gun stores by the brothas, but robbery of a gun store is really stupid, since most who work there are well armed.

I worked in a gun store many years ago, and we all carried. Not to mention the shorty 12 ga stashed behind the counter.

Looked like it. Obscured what he was doing long enough to get the first effective shot in, thus ending the fight before it really started.

Looks like it. It also looks like he knew how to shoot a Government Model.
Indeed he did.

No view of the head, it may have been "canoed", dunno.

Regardless,....they walked past that idiot without ensuring he was not going to reach / reclaim his sidearm

Stone dead, or just knocked out ?

Looks like the others armed themselves, to.

One should have secured the aggressor's potential for further threat.
