-I'm not seeing Meopta 34mm tubed 3-12x50mm tactical scopes flying off the shelves at half that price. This thing's got to be pushing 2lbs+. It seems a bit of a strangely specified optic.

-Swarovski should sell a bunch of scopes at those prices. Favorable exchange rates seem to be making European glass increasingly attractive.


As an aside, I decided to try Vortex's new Defender scope caps. My initial impression is that they are a really well made, well designed, heavy duty, US manufactured product. I immediately ordered two more sets.

I'd love to do a side by side comparison of Leupolds LTO-Tracker vs. my FLIR LS-X. If someone get's me a demo, I'll take it on this year's 24 CF Hog Hunt where it could get a thorough going over.

leupold as well, leupold has been notoriously bad. These LRP scopes better have more reliable tracking. maybe if you can slip that question in on your next optics visits.


I spoke with Leupold and the new VX6 HD has a new adjustment system
