Voter fraud by the Democrats is rampant. All reasonable people who pay any attention already know this. This is the only reason the left so vehemently opposes voter ID laws. Voter ID laws suppress voter fraud, thus causing Democrats to lose more elections.

Voter fraud by the Democrats is rampant. All reasonable people who pay any attention already know this. This is the only reason the left so vehemently opposes voter ID laws. Voter ID laws suppress voter fraud, thus causing Democrats to lose more elections. I think Trump outsmarted the Dems and the Media once again. By tweeting that there was several million illegal votes and that is why he lost the popular vote, he forced the Media and the Dems to say "Bull [bleep], Prove It". To comply with their demands, he has ordered an official investigation into voter fraud. He may not find the numbers he stated, but he will find fraud, lots of fraud. This will cut the legs out from underneath the Democrats and the Media that say 1) there is no fraud and 2) We do not need voter ID laws. By 2020, maybe even by 2018, because of this "forced" investigation, there will be State voter ID laws all over the place and maybe even Federal voter ID laws. GO TRUMP

You wouldn't want to put facts behind decades of allegations would you? I mean that might put the matter to rest and cause hindrances like, say, passing laws to block voter fraud. That could actually make elections more fair, can't have that!!

We need national ID laws. How can a person not have ID? How can you open an account of any kind without a picture I D?? How can you spend a bank account to have your WELFARE funds sent to without a picture ID?? What's the big hardship to get an ID???

A few yeas ago MN had a petition drive to get a "no" vote for voter ID on the MN ballot. Get this, to sign the petition in opposition of Voter ID requirements, you had to present a photo ID before you could sign the petition.

I thought our Social Security card was our national ID? Why not add a photo and computer chip with all our personal info on it? WHy not go from there to a computer chip in our hand or forehead?

Actually, the major resistance from Americans against the Social Security program was the idea that it might eventually be required as a national ID card, which Americans then associated with tyranny. In order to address this concern, it was actually part of the law that it could never be required as an ID card. For many years, in fact, it was printed right on the card that it could never be required for ID purposes.
