Wondering if anyone can run a couple loads for me, would like to know the predicted PSI. 24" Barrel.

Both loads, 8x57JS PRVI Brass(Remington would be close sub as case weights I've measured have been quite close). Winchester WLR primer, 50.0gr CFE 223

Load 1. 180gr Nosler BT @ 3.070" COL

Load 2. 185gr Remington PSPCL @ 2.970" COL

Thanks in advance,

Tim

QuickLOAD does not have specifics for case brands. You need to actually measure the water capacity to the case mouth for the brass you are using. The more information you provide the better the prediction.

Other items that help provide better output:

Bullet touching/jammed into lands at C.O.A.L. (Y/N):
Measured bullet length:
Case length:
Case water capacity (measured level to case mouth):
Barrel twist rate:

I used the defaults for case capacity, case length, bullet length (sometimes QuickLOADs bullet length is quite off changing the numbers quite a bit), case water capacity (this is a big one to provide), and used 240mm (9.45") as twist rate.

USE THIS DATA AT YOUR OWN RISK
Code
Cartridge : 8 x 57 IS (8 mm Mauser CIP)
Bullet : .323, 180, Nosler BalTip 32180
Useable Case Capaci: 53.866 grain H2O = 3.497 cm³
Cartridge O.A.L. L6: 3.070 inch = 77.98 mm
Barrel Length : 24.0 inch = 609.6 mm
Powder : Hodgdon CFE223

I don't know if my copy of QuickLOAD is screwed up but it doesn't have any default lengths for Remington bullets. So I can't help you with the second one without a measured bullet length.
