Nate's shop is impressive in person. Lots of nice stuff. A guy that truly loves what he does.

I feel guilty the times I have called him. In that, he seems willing to talk rifles and answer questions till, well till I start feeling guilty about taking up his time.

Of course, perhaps I shouldn't feel all that bad. He says there is this one customer who calls him just about every week. He mentioned a name, almost like I should know who it would be. grin

I called him probably once a month and for no less than 10-20 minutes each time. When I went to his shop to pick up the rifle we talked for 3.5 hours and that felt very brief at best.

He's a great guy. I still need to get some good pictures of my rifle and get out to shoot it.

Bob's .270 is officially signed off for 2017 Pa Deer. Almost no wind so took it to 300 today. A little bit of guessing going on with the 6xHD, but it kept 4 in just under 2.5inch. Then rang some 10inch steel.
Accubond again beat the partition on paper. Nice thing is, it is the same load and almost the same POI at 100.

I think it would get scary with a different sighting combination.

It would seem that the rifle found a perfect home.

Yes, I do. Especially on a warmer day. Can't say I can match the UA chapeau, but I often hang the same binos the same way. And as he mentioned at one time. "I've been known to shirt sleeve em."
Although it appears I am one up with using the harness. laugh

I am just catching up on a couple of threads and didn't realize Bob lived so close to me. Wished I would of been able to have a beer with him and hear some of his stories in person!

Did a little scout in a favorite evening ground blind for the upcoming Deer Season. Took Merlot and he not only can smell them, but also see them a good ways off. In three hours ended up seeing 23 Deer and these Turkeys. Two Bucks, but neither would have been legal for this unit. No chasing going on, but we have the Does and they should draw in the Boys.

This one was close and had Merlot quivering, but he held.
