Cooking dinner for the wife, with a nice bottle of wine and ... "an organic gift" for later.

Bouquet of flowers sent to school for the oldest daughter.

Balloons for the youngest.

Whatcha'll doin' for the ladies in your life?

I told her this morning I was sorry but didn't have anything for her. She said it was OK and didn't do anything for me. Sometime this morning roses will be delivered to her office.

The little one had flowers and balloons when she woke up smile

I gave mine a card this morning before leaving for work. She will get a dozen roses delivered to her office today. She is meeting me after work and I am taking her eat at a seafood restaurant. At the table I will surprise her with a set of silver fleur-da-lis earrings.

Tomorrow after work I am taking her eat out again and I bought us ticket to see a Jazz performance at the Baton Rouge Manship Theater.

We'll have BACON for supper and Big Reese's for desert.
Never cards or flowers. Anniversary in 10 days anyhow.

Flowers sent to her work and a card and some gifts from Leatherology that she will love on the table when she gets home.

New rowing exercise machine should show up today at the office.

She wants me to drag it home between 5 and 6 as I have to be at fire drill at 6pm....

I suspect I"ll do just that. Not sure about time to assemble it though...

She will be elated. She didn't want to spend 1000 bucks, but its only money.

This is the first Valentines in several years that I don't have to worry about it. She is gone, gone, gone. And I am relieved. grin

Took the wife to lunch at Joe's Stone Crab Saturday. Sent cards to daughter and grand daughter. Separated by miles and miles today. Life is what it is.

Well, at lunch I texted my wife of 32.5 years a poem I just wrote.

The Grizzly Bear Growls,
And the Wiley Coyote Yips,
And I want to devour you,
When I smooch on your lips.

Then I brought home some flowers and Ice cream.
