can anyone recomend a gunsmith to build a left hand 22 hornet? would like it to stay in montana, but will go where it takes.

Odd that Cooper said no, they offer the 22 Hornet and I was told that offer a left hand option on any of their rifles.
Did you talk directly to Cooper or ask a dealer?

I would be looking for a LH Mini Mauser. Lots of good smiths in Montana just don't have any first hand experience with any.
I would go to the Custom Gun Guild Roster and just pick the one with the least back log.

I am surprised, perhaps they do not have a CNC program for a model LH 38. Just to be sure there was no misunderstanding on the part of the person who answered the email why not give them a call on Monday.
