I just acquired a high quality Douglas 223 AR barrel and it has the standard, non M4, feed ramps. Rather than modifying the barrels feed ramps, I am looking for a flat top upper receiver with standard feed ramps. I found a couple of new upper options, but i thought I would check to see if anyone has a quality used one they are willing to sell. Thank you.

Thanks for the heads up on the upper. I just placed an order with Brownells for one.

Please educate me. Why would you not want M-4 feedramps?

Thank you, sir!
Now that I got that, is there a reason to build a rifle without M-4 feedramps? I guess what I'm trying to ask is;
Do M-4 feed ramps add or take anything away from reliability, feeding, accuracy, etc?

For AR-15's the important thing is that they match. Even if they don't it will still work, you just won't have the "correct" parts.
The M4 ramps are supposed to add a little extra feeding insurance for full auto fire, the M4 cuts in the upper are pretty standard now as most barrels are using the M4 cut barrel extension.
