I had one in 308 once. Wish I still had it. I'd like to snatch one up in 6.5x55. Very nice

I saw one in 250-3000 once at a gun show. $450, and that was back in the early '90's. At that time I didn't have the money....but what a deal that would have been.

I have three, all in .308. shocked What can I say? I like the looks and they were were all very low priced. Long and storage story behind those deals.

I had a Mark II RSI in .308 for about 2 months before my neighbor, the Ruger nut, had to have it. I swapped it for a Stainless Mark II in .243 with a 3-9 VXII AND a T/C Triumph. I thought I did pretty good for a $550 investment. It is a sweet little rifle though. Maybe I'll have to look for another.

Indeed. The OP's .243 is a nice little rifle in my favorite chambering. Also drool-worthy is garyb11's SS 6.5x55. IF I needed more than 2 rounds of 6.5x55 to close the deal in my deer woods, the problem would definitely not be the rifle or the cartridge...

I'm waiting for the 17HM2 reamer to arrive so that I can get the new barrel installed.
