Ya, I did have a ball. Met one of my buds and his son and nephew at the Petting Zoo. Final talley, 7 hoglets and 3 turkey.

Got into the stand about 6:15 Friday morning and watched the day come alive. First hog came in about 6:40. At that time he/she was just a shadow. Feeder went off at 7 AM and here they came!

Nailed the sow first. The shoats did not have enough sense to run. They just stayed there and kept eating. I had six bullets, and I always save one, so I shot four more. I'd hoped to get a couple doubles, but the pigs did not co-operate. BTW, The Steyr shoots a five shot group MOH (minute of hoglet) at
100 yds.

Set some snares and got a nice boar Saturday morning. I did not weigh him, but he was a thick one!

Sunday was one of those days that don't come often enough

absolute bluebird kind of day! Perfect for piddlin' and enjoying the cactus roses

[Linked Image]

Not too shabby!

Killed critters, ate great grub, smoked a couple good cigars and consumed adult beverages

Rat Fhuqk Dog Schit and Rented Cows...is VERY "exciting". Congratulations?!?

LAUGHING!

Been an EPIC fhuqking pass,in all regards and despite the beautiful weather, the Victim Tally surpassed the wildest of expectations. Banked more splendor in a coupla minutes,in a single riffle, than The Lollipop Gang has in a "Life" of trying. Hint. Just saying. Laughing!

I'll be well over 500 Steelhead, before the calendar year ends and reckon the next pass, will be even better...knowing me. Hint. Laughing!

The casualties were few,as per THE Team, but Riggin' and digits took a fhuqking hit, though hardly anything "new" or "different". Replacements are ordered and mail at my feet,is laying in wait to be opened.

As per the usual "hunch",yet another GLX fhuqking puked. Old News,yada,yada,yada...seen it LOTS! Hint. Google it. Laughing!

[Linked Image]

This pass,it were the opposite side of the spectrum.

[Linked Image]

Funny schit!

[Linked Image]

Anywhoo...the high volume fervor only cost (1) digit. That due the propensity to crowd a Loomis and get wrapped unwantonly in the bight of PP magnitude, extolling it's virtues under duress. Google it. Laughing!

Bokeh. LAUGHING!

[Linked Image]

When 3-foot of Trout gets pissed, schit do happen. At least you "lucky" kchunts "get" to read about it and gawk the splendid pics. Laughing!

[Linked Image]

Only caught (1) Dorado and now you can say you've "seen" one. Laughing!.

[Linked Image]

I'll feign my GREAT "surprise",that a fence-hoppin' Texan in a rented field, trumped the whole lot of you "hard chargers" and yet again reiterated obliviously...that proficiency cain't be purchased. Read that again. Now one more time. Google it. LAUGHING!

Pardon my scraps, exceeding your BEST efforts.

Bless your hearts.

Laughing!...............

(Kchuntendendum...for yet another CLUELESS Fhuqk)

HeavySquawker,

I've not boated "much" more than 175,000 pounds in a single tow,on a single day, onto a single boat(if only obviously). Tough to trump the effectiveness of a Dragger. Hint. Google it. Laughing!

Groovin' on your gross inability to connect a single fhuqking dot and instead exemplify your twat...you "lucky" kchunt.

That's a "big" cooler load of nothingness. What didja' pay,to "do" that? LAUGHING!

Bless your heart,

Laughing!.................

Congrats on the imaginary pretend Dorado, sugar tits... I know, I know, you could too if only... LMAO

Cost is beyond your means and abilities, you couldn't spring for the two blocks of ice. Remember that while you're saving up for the next hike down to the river and see if you can connect them same dots.

Speaking of a Dorado,

A while back, IIRC, Ken Honeycutt featured a pix of his model 50, I think it was, with green buckeye burl scales. I only have one other blade with buckeye burl and so I contacted him and asked him to do one for me with the green buckeye burl.

After I received the knife I inquired in regards to the "Dorado" label versus the model 50 label. He indicated that he'd named that model the "Dorado" as the heel of the handle reminded him of the head of a Dorado fish.

[Linked Image]

Ya', I can see that.

Anyway, like all Ken's stuff this one is mighty fine in its execution and has a sharp toothy edge.

[Linked Image]

It was a stormy wet afternoon, that, so in conjunction with a Remember Goliad Doppelbock, the knife made short work on the silver-skin of this beef tenderloin, not to mention the meat slicing capabilities. One batch of jerky coming right up.

Anywho, a couple more pix of the whole enchilada.......

[Linked Image]

[Linked Image]

and what a guy,

I had mentioned to Ken, that with knives this sharp, I usually nick myself sooner or later.

[Linked Image]

not only did Ken send me a band-aid, but included another for sensitive skin just in case .

Yup, give a little more than what's expected and you'll always have biz.

ya!

Are those brown trout??? Sure are dark? I notice the trout are looking like the pow residents, kinda shovel headed with a hint of downs....
