Interesting critters, anybody that's trapped one knows they can really move the dirt. I trapped one by the back leg and found him hanging by the back leg in the hole he had dug out everything in reach. Luckily it was in the direction away from the trap stake and it held.

Yeah, they're tough, I think their personalities are OK, and I've heard they are pretty good in bed also(the male ones anyways.)

Around here it's pretty common to find them burying road killed deer in the winter time. Here's one of them.
