Try the local Trap & Skeet clubs; the Skeet club here has it occasionally after they have the range cleaned.

Roto Metals also sells it.

Theres a guy around here called "Lead Miner". He has a semi-truck and hauls lead around the midwest. A group of us went in on a barrel, but he also sells loose quantity. His stuff is good, clean and no grit/gravel. Don't know if he has a website. Friend found him on "Trapshooters.com" I believe. We've had good luck with re-claimed shot for skeet and sporting clays. I figure the few in each shell that are flattened or stuck together gives me a "hit" where I should have missed..haha

Used it for many many years for trap, skeet and hunting. I get mine from a local range were the water coming off the mountain me it puddle up like gold in low spot in the creek. I still have 3 1/2 - 55 gallon barrels full yet. It's hard to dust clays with it as there's alot of fliers, but it breaks them. I would be willing to sell a barrel but you have to come get it.

Good suggestions above. Plus you can monitor over at trapshooters.com for postings. It can be a seasonal/regional thing too as clubs don't "mine" to reclaim but every so many years to keep the operation as efficient as possible.

Good Luck,

No value added to the conv but this is interesting, I didn't even realize there was a market for this.

I bought 25 lbs of mixed reclaim off of ebay before, was cheap and FREE shipping. The mail lady knocked on my door and wanted to know what was in it. Xray would just show up as a big black blob. They had bet's going on between the postal workers on what it was. This was pre 9-11 so they probably had different security measures back then I guess.
