Is the "...1/2 round" why it is only 14" long?

One misfire (I left it in), and short for use in the jungles of New Guinea when hunting cannibal frogs. Fits pre-mils and post-mils interchangeably.

Oh, it's one of those weld-to-fits. Good, those are way cool.

Nah, it's the even rarer Elmer's Glue-to-fits. (I would recommend the optional hose clamp though.)

I like the heavy duty stainless steel hose clamps with the looooong brass crossbolt. I hang my bandana on it when I break from marching in the jungle to forage for grubs.

I am looking for an elevation Knurled Knob for a Lyman 54 for my Savage 20/26. I realize they are a scarce item. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks. Art

Hi all!!!!
This is my first post
And would like to introduce myself
I'm Vinny B , from Big Dog Arms in Roscoe NY
I NEED SOME HELP In Finding which is the correct rear sight that goes on a savage 1899 I have in 22 H.P - the gun was made in 1915 and the serial number is 1701XX
I can provide pics of the firearm if needed
It's a takedown model and the rear sight has a dovetail groove in the barrel and there are two screw holes also in barrel for rear sight - can anyone steer me in the right direction please ?

This is the sight that would have been original to the rifle... http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Sav...3?hash=item4408b094a3:g:lwYAAOSwqOtZg4T3

The two holes in the barrel would have been added so can't tell what they were for.

Western has been selling alot on GB lately.

Seems like everything I call them for is "out of stock", Lyman sight parts especially.

Could use a decent 99EG stock and forend from 1950s. Yeah, I know, no one wants to part with them. Have to try.

Anybody a A, B, or C barrel in 30-30 and maybe a forearm? I have receiver # 137xxx with a flaming bomb barrel probably off a Springfield. Thanks.

I've got a turdy turdy barrel on a different takedown parts gun, the Jeep gun, but if I steal it then the parts gun would be a dedicated .410. Not a bad thing I guess.

non-folding semi-buckhorn. Savage made a lot of them. The folding model didn't come out until 1959. It's much harder to find. David
