Glad you're enjoying it. I used to shoot my compound in the basement. If I shot diagonally corner to corner across the basement I could get 20 yards in. Wife does preschool out of the house now, so that ended a while back.

GG,
Did you ever get some broadheads for your crossbow? You going to kill some deer in 601 this year?
Yesterday I just saw the first dead one since Jan 1 on the roads near my place. In the last few years I would have seen 1/2 a dozen by now. My population reduction campaign seems to have worked some. I think I only will kill 1-2 this fall and maybe shift into 601 to whack a couple more. I have not seen the big doe with 2 fawns that I kept trying to catch up with last fall. I haven't seen her or the fawns dead on the road or alive in the neighborhood. I know a couple of people in the neighborhood were baiting and killing deer and they may have killed them, but I have no evidence of that.
I've signed up with mbrb.org and may do one of their hunts or may hunt private land. I haven't decided yet which I'll do. The private land appeals me because I am pretty particular what I shoot and putting trail cams out on public land is expensive when they get stolen.

I didn't pick up broadheads yet. 'Got a new place to hunt out south of Lakeville. Hoping to invest in a better scope too.
