Anyone here diagnosed with it? I was April 3rd. I am waiting on surgery may 4th. How long was your recovery? Are you back to fully living and painfree?

Always wondered what that was called.
My wife's granny must have had that from washing too many dishes and being humped over in her garden picking turnip greens for 75 yrs.

My wife's mother is humped over like that; hers is from Parkinsons disease. Lots of causes, few solutions. Miserable existance for sure.

Doc is putting rods and screws in. Only solution for me or be unemployable.

Know a great guy thats been like that as long as I can recall and I"m 52. Henry has never been without a job, and first one I can recall was at Texaco station.
He has to be 75 plus by now I'd think.

Didn't mean to mislead. I've dealt with lower back pain for years. It has gotten to where pain meds are part of life. I recently hurt my upper back and finally had a full spine MRI. That's when they found the problem. Docs say my upper back is bending to the point it is pulling the lower out of proper alignment. If I don't get it fixed I will become unemployable soon. My biggest hope is to be back to work soon and off pain meds.
