We go back in two weeks to pick one. Here are two favorites.

What the heck,

when you go back,

take two and call me in the morning!

those two look like suitable candidates.

Geno

PS How old are they in that pic? somehow, they don't seem like they'll be small labs to me.

6 weeks. We're super excited. It's been a rough patch since loosing Joe.

The one on the left is the biggest one and a bruiser with her litter mates. The one on the right is just a tic smaller and the most chill.

Jeeezzz, don't show that to my wife.

It's amazing how different they all are. My first lab was laid back and hardly ever barked. He was a great dog. The one we have now is completely opposite. He's a great dog, but he's wound up tight and barks at me over everything. If he could talk, maybe he wouldn't bark so much. Nice as can be, just energetic.

My wife likes the one on the left. These were bred for intelligence and high energy so the one on the right might be a good hedge.

I stand by my words earlier........................... get them both! laugh

They will balance each other out,

the mellow one will provide an example to her sister of how to act around the house.

the rambunctious one will get her sister off the couch and out in the yard to learn hunting skills! (or just for play even)

Have fun whichever way you go, they both look wonderful and I'm jealous.

Geno

PS, have to agree, don't show that to my wife ME again, I may be running to the nearest breeder with good pups. shocked

I jokinly said I'd take them all. We only get one, one at a time, so they'll imprint on us rather than each other, that and there aren't enough to go around.

Here's the runt on top of her brother, who fell asleep with his face in my palm.

They come out of two well established New England hunting lines.

I would discourage getting both. My last pair were brother and sister from the same litter. Both were good dogs, but never got the training together than they would have gotten separately. They also ran as their own pack when together, hunted differently when apart (better). They are cute at that age but I do remember leaving them in the yard one day and they ate the wooden garden furniture set. All 5 pieces.

Both dead for a few years now.
