Shorthand for all of that is the fact I have made a bunch of parts for numerous doubles from scratch and they all seem to work... finding parts does not scare me a lot.

I've bought 2 100's and a 200 off the classifieds here. 700, 750, and 800. All 3 were 25" 20's. The 100's were ic/mod and the 200 is sk/sk. I still have the 200 with no intention of selling.

I got a slightly used, like fired once, SKB 385 20 Ga just yesterday. My friend gave it to me. He bought it for $1150 the day before yesterday from a gentleman who needed the money. It has 28 inch barrels. Beaver tail forearm, and pistol grip.

Based on what I have seen so far, extremely high quality.

Those are very nice shotguns and $1150 is 1/2 price or maybe a little less. Good for you!

High quality but a different beast than the OP. Built on a full size 12 bore frame IIRC. Heavy too.

Rock Island Auction has two of them for sale in 4 days. Unfortunately, you have to bid on a package of 3 shotguns to get either one.

Go to Proxibid.com and do a search for "ithaca 100" and they will come up. Good luck!
