Has anyone ran across any wolves along the Colorado / Wyoming border while out scouting or hunting?

Have hunted quite a but just South of the Wyo/Co border below Laramie and in the Medicine bow range. Have a cabin there as well. Haven't seen any tracks or sign. Summer or winter. No doubt they will be there sooner or later.

I have seen both wolf and moose laying dead on I-70 west of Denver and I haven't been there for a dozen years.

Yep. as Alpinecrick has said, I-70 has been a mortality sink for wolves in Colorado.

In April 2016, a coyote hunter killed a wolf near Kremmling, and he turned it in to the DOW, a 75lb male, if I recall.
Another coyote hunter killed a wolf on the North side of the Grand Canyon last year as well.
Both wolves were DNA traced back to the Yellowstone packs.
If there are no established packs here yet, I think it's only a matter of time.

there was also a wolf killed in Kansas a year or two ago as well.
Laws aren't preventative measures. In other words, more laws won't prevent gun crime from happening.
