The gun has a receiver made in 1957 & the barrel was made in 1955 only. note the three line address (made in the USA).

Answering a message I got to the barrel. earlier dated barrels on later dated receivers is very common. but in this case, this barrel (with 3 line address) is very rare & made for a very short time in '55' & only put on receivers made in that year serial number range. it is a "lunch box" gun. it would be nice to see the bottom of the barrel to see if it is marked SUPER.
