It's probably a joy to carry in the field too. I always enjoy taking my AH Fox Sterlingworth out and hunting with it... Just something about the old side by sides that is very intriguing...

Don't laugh at me!!! I see that as the perfect "gotta go into the bush after a leopard" shotgun. Super reliable, no BS. Double triggers. I had a Sauer like that. Only 2.75 inched, but handled like a dream.

I know what you mean. It is the standard grade guns that made the reputations of the classics. No matter the gun; handgun, scattergun, or rifle, the standard grade guns that more folks could afford and that just flat worked made the reputations!
