A guy I know was shooting a new .22 Nosler at the range, and I got to pop off a few at the 700yd plates. I believe he was getting an honest 2,950 fps out of the factory 77gr load with an 18" barrel. Not too bad for a carbine length rig, and surprising accurate at 700 given that it was an AR Stoner brand upper as opposed to one of the fancier brands.
