Friend is asking me the value of a Ruger .44 magnum autoloader carbine. He says it's in very good condition.

Serial number 103-148xx

Info on year it was made and informed opinions on price range appreciated.

I know there's a price difference between the original versions and the later reintroduced model

Go to Ruger.com and look for manuals page under rifles. You'll find years ans S/N ranges.

The newer models do not bring quite as much as the old ones do. Everyone uses them for hogs down here and they get beat up pretty good.

I bought a 44 Magnum Deerslayer International in 1984 and sold it for the same price 2 years later. Good gun and fun to shoot. I wish I still had it.
