Best stop then. That's not the worst part by a long shot.

Fred, I figured chit had been going down for quite awhile. Easy to read the hurt in all his posts.

No, no fishing today. Flew in from Ketchikan yesterday to my mom's place in the Bitterroot.

Had to get some work done before I go back to work next week. I do got some fresh ling cod being fried up right now though.

May be buying a new roping horse tomorrow. Gonna go take a look and see how well he takes reins smacking him upside the head. That's my measure of how good a horse is.

Oh okay, you're already back in God's country. Smokey over there?

A fricken' ropin' horse?

I thought you had more sense than that!

And enjoy the fish dinner.

I stopped by Town Pump on the way home.... Three chicken strips(for $3...) and a sixer of Stella. Slummin' once again.

The Town Dump...I miss those gas stationslaugh We'll see about the horse. I don't really need him, but am always on the lookout for a good hunting/working horse.

It is pretty bad as far as smoke in the Bitterroot, but I guess Seeley Lake is possibly going to be evacuated due to air quality issues. Good thing in all of Missoula County's wisdom they restricted wood burning stoves a while back, to curb inversions from smoke...yet they preach how good forest fires are for the environment.crazy

As you can imagine the Town Pump here is a trip. The claim to fame is it sells more 'beer' than any other store in MT. Not sure if that's true but there is a steady line of beer trucks driving back and forth from Glasgow everyday.

I heard on the radio earlier today the Seeley is bad smokey with a nearby fire.

I've only been to Wolf Point once, back in 2010 or so. I would hazard a guess that the local Town Dump there does indeed get more injuns wasted than any other establishment in Montana.

Impressed I was, with the joint.

The town is better than Browning though, I must admit. I thought I was going to be raped in Browning one time (ironically, I think at the Town Dump) in broad daylight. I've felt safer in Bethel Alaska and Iraq than I did in Browning. My ass still shrivels at the thought of Browning.

You have to call me knighthawk!

Seattle is every bit as thick with smoke as Western Montana is...no doubt. I was a bit surprised when I landed in there yesterday.
