Here's a pic and a description from McMillan's website. The stock for sale is STILL UNPAINTED. You can choose any McMillan pant scheme, included in the selling price. The Game Scout design is a duplicate of the Remington Classic stock but with the popular A-3 vertical pistol grip. This gives McMillan A-series stock owners a smooth transition from their tactical stock to a compact hunting stock. It is an ambidextrous stock and can be inletted for most right hand and left hand Remington type actions and for barrel contours up to about a #5 Douglas or Remington Varmint size.

Rick, Can this stock have the barrel channel opened up to a Brux #5. If so I would also like it painted. Thanks Del

Del:
It can be done easily enough, but if you want McMillan to do it, they are going to hit us with a new fee.
So, assuming you or someone you know can handle the job (opening up a barrel channel), the paint is no problem.

Rick, What is the turn around on them just painting it. Do they paint the camo as in the above picture you have posted. I have a buddy that may want the same thing in short action. Thanks Del

Couple weeks turnaround on paint. No, they do not paint the camo above. You can have any McMillan painted finish, as shown here: https://mcmillanusa.com/mcmillan-rifle-stocks/colors-finishes/That includes Transition camos, Speckletone camos, and painted finishes.
