Anyone use, or know of an attachment for a loader for getting rocks out of a field?

I used something like this when I was trying to separate rock from dirt that was dug out when my house foundation was dug out.

Had a friend that invented an implement to remove large amounts of rocks from his farm. He farmed over 1000 acres. It worked well.

I think he sold the design. He pulled it behind a tractor.

The only rock pickers that I am familiar with is four kids with burlap feed bags marching up the field and dumping them out in a pile where they were then loaded on a pickup at the end of the day.

Boy, was that ever a long time ago.

blanket, not a hand tool, a method for getting many rocks out of the crop fields. Or perhaps I misunderstand you?

rocks spade that attaches to bucket on tractor. It slides over the edge and is held on with a chain and binder. Northern tool has them but I made mine for the 2640

I have used a rock picker that you pull behind a tractor. It will pick up most surface rocks. If you are just going to clean up a field for plowing or planting you would be better off to rent one if you have a big enough tractor to pull it. Rock pickers are heavy and it takes about 70 HP to move the one we used.

The bucket that TRnCO posted might work pretty well on some fields and there are other brands that have longer front times which gives you a deeper bin to hold them in. Have not used one so no comment on that.

I cut strips out of a case tractor bucket. Rocks that were smaller
than 2" diameter and the dirt would fall out when you would shake bucket. You had to have the wind right cause of dust, but it works well. It would be even better if you cut buttom out and bent round bar to that contour, then welded it in. You wouldn't have to shake as much.
