...and yeah, I know that we're below .375" here,......also know that some frequenting here may well be interested

As Posted on the Big Bore Lever forum

This is apparently THE bullet for the .33 Winchester,........I understand they're hard to find

200 Grain .338 flat point.

good trusted friend showed me 6 unopened and one open ( very full ) box. His right shoulder's in a sling,....rotator cuff surgery (again) and he's backing away from the hard kickers.

Had I have had the funds, the nice servicable old ' 86 he sold off would be in my safe,.....and the bullets under my bench. A "collector" bought it,....didn't want the slugs.

I'm going to put this on the BPCR, and mebbe a couple of other fora,.....where I know vintage / esoteric caliber loonies hang,....

Will try to get a pic of a sample I brought home this PM.

$ 150 takes em' ALL,....FOB his kitchen table in S. Az.,.......shipping's not included.

PM me for his E- co-ords, and tele # .......

Shoot well, and shoot often !

Greg,

That bullet in a .338-06 or even a .338WM (the rifle I shot them in) loaded with SR-4759, 5744, or H-4895 to ~2,200 - 2,300 fps is a low recoil, very accurate deer killer. It was my load of choice for Blacktail hunting on Kodiak Island. With a Speer 275gr RN or a 250gr Partition loaded in the magazine with room for another round, I would single load the 200gr FP, knowing I had bear medicine on tap.

It was also my way of introducing my kids to a larger caliber rifle.

Good luck in finding another owner, they will be fortunate, indeed!

Ed

Thanks, Ed !

The rifle that might have accompanied these,....disappeared into a "collection" now was a very clean half mag '86, that one could have carried all day,....IIRC it had a vintage Lyman flip up, that I did some repairs on. I WANTED that rifle ,....but want and need were sensibly addressed,.....and as we say, there's a lot more where that come from.

You KNOW the fella' that's selling em',.....IIRC, you walked away from his table with a fresh, clean .270 ( blush blush blush) some years back, remember ? Nice savage, IIRC.

Got a pic of that bad boy slug, as promised
