A good Victoria day, and a good long weekend to all the good Canadians on the "fire', and elsewhere!

Beautiful day here today, low 20's and not much wind. Looks like spring has finally arrived!

Happy Victoria Day to you too sir.

It was finally nice enough here to roll the canvas top down on the Mustang on the way home from church.

I think that our eldest daughter and I are slated to chase black bears if we can spot any tomorrow on Victoria Day. If not we'll shoot a few rocks and then maybe cut a load of firewood or something equally exciting. wink

Anyway sir, as an honourary Canuck I'll send a Happy Victoria Day right back at ya!

You are as always, much kinder to a short man than I deserve.

Yes we picked up a midlife crisis for me to play with last spring. It's a 40th Anniversary model so 13 years old now I guess. Nothing too special, but it's never been winter driven and has only 108,000km on it so that's okay.

Insides as of this spring...

It's been fun playing with a car again after a 35 odd year hiatus anyway wabigoon, sorta therapeutic actually.

All the best to you all again as we head into summer wabigoon.

Dwayne, if you and, my first born daughter were not both faithfully married, she might give you a call, and ask for a ride.

I bought her a raffle ticket from the Vermilion Bay Lion's club on a 2016 Mustang convertible last August for her birthday..
We had, I hope 20 dollars worth of fun joking about her winning, and driving it to Iowa, top down regardless of the weather that day, or time of day.

Enjoy the ride Dwayne, and remember that the law hates sporty red cars.

Indeed sir we call the color - "ticket me red".....

I tend to stretch the speed limit much more with the nondescript silver Corolla that is my usual commuter ride than the Mustang for sure.

When we got out of horses I briefly considered getting a motorcycle, but my daughters talked me out of that and into looking for a ragtop instead. Truly up here a 10-12 year old Mustang is cheaper than a road bike in decent shape so that didn't hurt my feelers any either.

All the best to you again sir, it's always a pleasure conversing with you.

Dwayne, if anyone could talk your way out of a ticket methinks it would be you. I believe you could talk your way out of a tiger's belly, and I mean that in the kindest way. Enjoy the ride this weekend, and for many years till you find a better ride.
