In case someone has one, or is getting one, I did some load workup today with 64 gr Win power points and using H322. Hornady brass and magtech primers.

Started low, at 20gr, but the sweet spot seems to be at 24.5 gr, with the bullet seated at the cannelure. Inch and a quarter 4 shot groups at 125 yds, and an average velocity of 3009.

I tried some 25 gr but it spread out some, although I f'd up and tried those with a crimp so that may have more to do with it then the charge. I'll try them again later at 25, but the WPP at 3K ain't nothing to sneeze at.

The rifle tends to throw the 4th and 5th shot, I found that early on so I stopped 5 shot groups. (The barrel is supposed to be free floated but the receipt paper test was tight, so you may need to tweak it if you expect to stunt shoot deer heads after the 3 shot....)

Still pleased with the gun despite it being heavy. No real recoil even at the 25gr charges which gave an ave velocity of 3050.

RWE, I am waiting for one in 6.5 Creed , in the mean time ; how is the feed and function? Is the ejection strong.

If you rack it with authority, there is no problem with feed or ejection, thus far. I'm only about 75 rounds into it though.

A light touch working the lever will give you issues with either. Extractions have all been positive.

Have you compared it to a BLR? I wish some store around here would stock it so I could look at one.

I sold my 308. It just wouldn't group.

The BLR that I had was a better gun as much as I hate to say it.
