I saw an interesting 1920 - 20/26 hybrid with a very early receiver, SN 2233, and a very late barrel that has an integral ramp with a dovetail bead.

I saw it too. As far as I know, 1920s and 20/26s did not have the later style raised ramp for the front sight. This left me wondering if the rifle may have been re-barreled with a later 99 barrel, making it a 1920 with a replacement tube. Not that this would give it cuties or anything like that - it is a nice looking rifle that likely will go out of my price range.

The very last of the 20/26s have that style of front sight. I had one in 250-3000, SN 12843.

G barrel?
MP stamped?
I used to own 12710 but can't remember the damned sights on it.
Sorry double checked, wasn't 13001, that would have been the last 20/26, had a couple beers with the neighbor.
The funny thing about that real late 20/26 was that it was stock all around but never had checkering but followed the factory lines like a glove.

No idea, but there are several detailed pictures of it on GB.

Since the auction for the rifle has already been posted I don't think that there's any harm in commenting on it. There are 15 bids and seven bidders. It likely will go for something north of 1K. Any thoughts on value (that is beyond its worth being whatever whoever is willing to pay for it)? It is a nice looking 1920 or 20/26.
