It was Jerry "Mad Dog" Shriver (SFC E-7)who said: "No, no, I've got them right where I want them -- surrounded from the inside." http://www.macvsog.cc/1969.htm
Raise high the black flag my children! I will kill the man who shows pity in his heart!

"Come, shall we go and kill us venison? And yet it irks me the poor dappled fools, Being native burghers of this desert city, Should in their own confines with forked heads Have their round haunches gored."
We as a people need to be careful in this fight less we lose our honor and those things that make us Americans. I had a Catholic priest in a small town called Ben Li east of Pleiku tell me that when fighting monsters the biggest danger is becoming what you fight. He was right! When fighting a barbaric enemy that you cannot respect it is easy to stoop to their level and commit or condone the same type of atrocities against them.
Gen Mattis understands war and President Trump understands the need to keep these people out of our country. That is a better start than we have had for the last eight years.
Gosh, I know that in the last 30 days, as a result of the more than 150 attacks, where more than a 1,000 were killed and over 900 injured, I try to remember that I must be careful not to make them mad..... or portray an Anti-muslim sentiment.....

I am not as honorable as you. To me, the honor lies in the restraint applied before the decision to make war. Once war was the only option left, I would make that war pure hell, for the enemy.
