Yes I've reviewed the last discussion on this and selected "picture trail". However, before I was fully registered, I was getting pop ups about things to purchase.
Obviously I cancelled that registration immediately. So I am inquiring again what others are using that is simple and non-invasive?

I downloaded TinyPic to load pics on here. I've had no trouble other than operator error.

I use Tinypic because there is no limit to file size, although images are automatically compressed to around 150kb - 300kb. If I don't want a medium or large file to be compressed too much I used IMGUR.

You can get a free Dropbox account with 2 gig. Works fine and I do Strelok Pro backups there.

Interesting thread, and timely. Since the 'Fire software upgrade, linked images hosted on Photobucket take forever to load - at least on the PCs I've used it on. I posted to a thread that Rick started shortly after the upgrade and Rick's response indicated that Photobucket's 'methods' were the issue. His suggestion was to choose a different image host, or use the attach image function in the Full Editor. (apparently, that info has not been widely spread.) Unfortunately, the attach image function limits file size to 99KB, which (in my case) requires the images be resized prior to attaching.

I've considered Google Photos and Flick (Yahoo's alternative) but really don't want all the 'visibility' either offer, or the constant email floods (Photobucket is about as bad). May have to look into IMGUR and/or tinypic.

It's next to impossible to link photos from Google into a thread here. Possible.. but what a freaking pain in the arse. They've known about the issue for 5 years, and they choose to not implement a fix.

Flickr.com works well for me.

Never knew they were photo capable. New say an ad or a pop up. I guess its bad marketing. I'll look it up.

Google wasn't clear how to migrate one photo to another website. So still gridlocked for now. No 7 year olds around to show me how either.

I already use dropbox for essays and hunting stories. How do I access the photo portion?

I spent/wasted some time late last night trying to post from photobucket, adds, then more adds. I'm watching this thread.

Yes! PB just consumes your screen with multiple pop-ups. No one is going to tolerate that for very long. The "copy" feature doesn't "copy" - at least on my iMac.
I've looked at other sites but I've yet to find any instructions on how to "copy and paste". I used this article and their rankings as a guide. I have found nothing yet.
