Yup, Carlo Rossi, under $11 at Wally World.

Grade A!

We've been renting branding irons all week.

This afternoon.

Couldn't ask for nicer weather but we sure could use a good rain as soon this latest batch of pairs is ready to go!

Not much to offer photo-wise, but this guy is undergoing a transformation into a 6mm Creed. The Model 7s are certainly compact, but unlike a short action 700, you are confined by the factory mag box. I didn't research, but I imagine there's not much in the way of bottom metal options. That said, I intended to stick with the BDL configuration an avoided some cost by foregoing Cerecote, fluting, and a custom trigger.

Specs are to be:
Model 7 Stainless action
Schneider #2 barrel, threaded at the end (for the future quiet game)
Bansner High Tech Stock
Bolt fluted and skeletonized by Karl
Gre-tan firing pin
Trigger tuned by 805
Leupold 2.5-8 w/B&C reticle

Badger Ordnance makes a dbm for model 7's that takes aics mags.
