Hello 24 hr. Camp.

I've lurked for years here, been around other places as the same name for many years. Finally bit the bullet and registered over here.

Anyhow, I am an avid family man, hunter and custom knife and leather maker. Thought I'd introduce myself and share some of my work. I look forward to rubbing shoulders with you all and contributing to the campfire.

Nice leather, as far as blades I'm partial to Howe mountain...

Nice work. I think I like that better than any single action holster I've seen. Very nice.

Thanks all. Really appreciate the thoughts.

Gungeezer, that is an American made Nicholson rasp knife. I named that knife "Elk Medicine".. I killed all the elk that adorn it. It was my personal knife but I gave it to a good friend of mine that I believe was a member here. His name was Scott "Doubless" Stephens. He died not to long ago after a hard fought battle with Cancer.

Thanks again,

Todd

Todd and I have been yakking back and forth for a number of years over on AccurateReloading. However it was not until a year or two ago that I found out that he was a knife-maker also.
Being the knife-slut I am, I had to have one of his knives.

IIRC, according to Todd, the steel is L6 that he let weather for six years. The scales are spalted Pecan.

He made a canted left hand cross draw sheath.

Todd even personalized it.......

As usual, shortly after he sent it to me I ruined the collector value! LOL

It flat works on hoglets. I told Todd that any blade that will cut through the hair and hide on a hoglet the way this one did is a cutter.

ya!
