Does anybody here have this scope or have an opinion about it???

Im thinking of getting it and putting it on a Winchester 70 extreme in 30-06 as just sort of an all around rifle.

I have one and like it well enough. Adjustments are solid and repeatable, glass is good, eyebox is usable, no complaints with quality so far. With that said, it's a bit on the heavy side if that matters to you. One can find nice used examples of that scope in the $300 range and new ones can sometimes be found at a good savings. If I were spending that kind of coin I'd probably buy another Leupold VX3i 2.5-8X36.

Thanks, yeah it is heavy but its not going on my mountain rifle (my kimber already has a leupy 2.5-8).

I have one and have no complaints. The glass is clean and bright, adjustments are positive and no issues with tracking or returning to zero. Good little scope for the money so far. I never noticed the weight, not something that I obsess over though.
