For those of you that run with a mag pouch on your belt when you shoot or compete, what do you recommend for the budget conscious?

Are you just wanting an extra mag on a regular belt or do you want a complete war belt?

I really like Blue Force Gear's 10 speed pouches. They make them for a regular belt or for MOLLE attachment. I use a double pistol mag pouch and a single AR pouch on my pistol belt. They are soft, lay flat when not in use, retain mags securely without covers or bungee chords. They are not the easiest to load but they work.

Maybe not the cheapest out there but unless you have a molle belt already, they should be cheap enough.

Edit to add, the ones for a regular belt are different than those for a molle belt.

I have used both hard and soft pouches and much prefer the hard type for easier re-holster.
These two have served well. The Fab Defense is a great choice and what I stick with now.
