I toss in red onion add olive oil, red wine vinegar, salt and pepper. I let it sit in the refrigerator for a few hours before eating. Best darn salad there is.

This, except I use roasted garlic infused rice vinegar or just plain old Braggs apple cider vinegar. Soon the zipper creams and purple hulled peas and cornbread will join in the fare.

Creamed peas, and new potatoes. We have not raised potatoes for years, so it will be red spuds, frozen peas, and it will still be good.
