There was a time, and it wasn't so long ago either, that Germany did something about a group of people that it considered a "problem". I guess that's still weighing on their mind now. I would think that today's Muslims pose a much greater threat to the Boche than the Jews ever did.
To me, the EU as a whole are a lot like only-children. Never had to pull their own weight, always protected from the real world by benevolent parents, and opinionated, lazy, mouthy and an entitlement complex.
It would be nice if we just told them that mommy and daddy aren't going to fund their lifestyle anymore. If they just start paying their own way, I'd be content. Shutting up would be nice too, but I'd rather be able to cut our defense spending by 1/3rd. Grow up. Mommy and Daddy are broke. You're on your own.
Maybe Germany will start relying on France (AKA Surrender Monkeys) instead of the US. Suits me fine.
