I received the scope and it came well packaged from GPO. Overall finish is nice without a lot of extra writing or symbols on the scope body. Magnification adjustment is smooth with just the right amount of friction resistance for me. Cross hairs are typical duplex. Windage and elevation adjustments maybe could be a little crisper but are fine, a lot of personal preference on what people like on those.

Will try to do some side by sides with a zeiss conquest and something else that I have that i think would be comparable. I have it mounted on a rifle now and will take it to the range friday and update the thread.

Seems like a hard market to enter and compete with the known brands. Probably have one shot to get it right.

Had the scope to the range a couple of times. Overall impressed with the quality of the scope. Glass is clear, better than Leupold VX 3i but maybe slightly below my Meopta Meopro. This is the Passion 3x 4-12x40 that I have. I think it is definitley a value in the $300 price range it falls into. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one.

Everyone that has looked through it at the range has been impressed with the clarity for the price.

GPO stands for German Precision Optics, however, they are made in Japan. The principals of GPO are alums of Zeiss.

The June/July issue of Outdoor Life tests this scope along with many others. I got the information from the article..

The GPO ended up near the middle of pack for overall score but many scopes were much more expensive.
