I have an old Winchester 94 30 WCF, 1942 model, that I'm considering a peep sight for. The Williams FP seems to be solid but having never fooled with one I figured I'd get some info from the 'fire. If not the Williams what peep would you recommend?

Thanks

I have experience with the FP, and in practice any peep will be of the same principle. There may be some particular characteristics of another brand you may prefer, so keep an open mind. Things such as adjustment, etc., or aesthetics. I like the micrometer adjustment of the FP, but don't particularly care for the looks, but it works.

A dink FP'd with the GG. Hell, the bullet weighed as much as the deer.....and the Yosemites, well, they say something, too.....
From the Optics forum. "Whatever is below and hotter than hell is no doubt the final destination for someone who uses and praises a pair of Leupold Yosemites."

From reading the FP seems easier to adjust than a few other which is why I was leaning that way.

I love my Yosemites. I never go to the woods without them.

I feel the same way about the Yosemites. If I'm to "burn in hell", I'll take plenty of hot dogs and marshmallows...

I'll bring coffee. Burning in hell will be really bad if I don't have coffee.
