OP Anaconda Campfire Regular A Joined: Apr 2001 Posts: 2,161 Fresno, Ca.	I headed to the high Sierras early Saturday morning. The snow pack is insane this year, and the pass to my favorite lake, Courtright is still closed, so I headed to option #2, Wishon lake a few miles away. I launched and was on the lake a dawn. Trolling solo, I boated 16 rainbows, mostly this springs planters, with a couple of 18” holdovers from last year. Photos to follow. MOLON LABE

The good thing about trout fishing here is tailrace fishing is good no matter how hot it gets and the smokie mountains always gives up some fish even in the summer but you gotta do some hiking. Plus the tailrace below norris dam has some ungodly big trout. Eating fried chicken and watermelon since 1972.
