I just saw that. I drew the muzzleloader buck tag I put in for. I got it last year, too, so I had no points and only a 12% draw chance this year. I

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I HAD AN AMAZING DRAW. I DREW A HART MOUNTAIN BIGHORN SHEEP TAG. I NEED TO PUT SOME SERIOUS TIME INTO STUDYING THIS.

IF ANYONE HAS ANY INFORMATION ON THE SUBJECT I WOULD APPRECIATE IT. THANKS IN ADVANCE. I WONDER IF I SHOULD GET A GUIDE FOR EXAMPLE.

I WENT WITH A BROTHER-IN-LAW [NOW DECEASED-I WISH HE WAS HERE] ON A POKER JIM HUNT SEVERAL YEARS AGO. HIS REGULAR PARTNERS HAD TO GO BACK TO WORK SO I FILLED IN. HE LET A 3/4 CURL RAM GO THE FIRST DAY AND NEVER SAW ANOTHER.

THE ELK TAG TOOK 3+ POINTS TO DRAW, THE BUCK AND DOE ARE EVEN ODDS DRAWS SO I WAS LUCKY ON THOSE AS WELL.

A FEW YEARS AGO, I FINALLY DREW A GOOD ANTELOPE TAG AND GOT A NICE 15 INCH BUCK. I SORT OF ASSUMED THAT MIGHT BE MY LAST REALLY GOOD DRAW [I TURN 70 THIS YEAR AND AM PRETTY FAT , PRETTY LAME AND HAVE DIABETES]. OBVIOUSLY NOT. I GUESS i SHOULD GO ON THE MOOSE HUNT DAD ALWAYS WANTED ME TO TRY.

YES, I AM EXCITED!
GARY

Hart Mt. bighorn sheep for me too! I had to call ODFW and ask them if it wasn't a mistake, LOL! I'm in the same boat as Dancing bear, will have to some serious research as I'm going DIY.

Congrats on that sheep tag - if you aren't on ifish you might want to spend some time there. I know at least one ifisher that had that sheep tag within the last several years that really knows the unit and I'm guessing would help you with some good info.
Congrats and good luck on your hunts!!

WOW! congrats on the draw Dancing Bear! That is awesome. What a fall.

I drew the Spike tag in my favorite unit.. Fun hunt that usually tops off the freezer pretty easily.

Marty,
Don't know until the Wyoming results are posted. I hope to draw that mule deer tag in unit 34, if I do not sure I'll have time to chase antelope, if I don't then sure I'll try and put something together if I can - I'll keep you posted.

For Hart Mt: Glass from the bottom west side, then drive to the top and drop down on them.

I drew a Keno buck, Heppner Bull, and Juniper antelope! Looks like I'll have an entertaining fall! Hoping to get some salmon fishing in between hunts! Good luck on the Hart Mt sheep tag! That's great country, I drew a muzzle loader buck tag there about ten years ago, got a nice 4x4, and observed a few sheep about half way up mountain, crump side!

Zipped in Oregon! Luckily we drew antelope in Wyoming, 73-1 near Casper.....

So Oregon, rifle blacktail, archery elk and I get to tag along and watch my brother hunt his first antelope.

Did not draw anything but Tioga 2 for elk. I have 16 preference points for, deer, elk and antelope.
