Charging at eight yards and with a double... PS: hunting with a "hot chamber" and safety on
A good principle to guide me through life: “This is all I have come to expect, standard lackluster performance. Trust nothing, believe no one and realize it will only get worse…”

Heym 88B, 450/400. I poached the picture and story from Accurate Reloading.

It is irrelevant what you think. What matters is the TRUTH.

Probably not. Even if a solid was used. Assuming full in line penetration, the round is probably in the grass laden stomach(s)...

Yep, not a lot of wiggle room at 8 yards. Tight sphincters... Positive pucker factor... DF

Why did it charge? Crappy 1st shot? Lion wound? Snare on his leg?

PS: hunting with a "hot chamber" and safety on I would certainly hope so!
The biggest problem our country has is not systemic racism, it's systemic stupidity.

I don't know, but do know one thing by studying the anatomies of the Cape Buffalo before my hunt, anytime you're messing with an animal that either one of his testicles is four times larger than his brain told me there is NOT a lot of reasoning reserves in a beast like that. They fight, screw and eat, they can see right off you're not a girl or nice patch of grazing grass, guess that just leaves ass-kicking.

Great shooting, hope he had a spare pair of shorts in the Rover! That would make a great Euro mount, with that big 'ol bullet hole right between the eye sockets.

She was pissed. I shot her sister? Cow and she went bezzerk trying to sort me out. Had my Searcy .500 Nitro. 570 gr. Knyoch Woodleigh solids.

Buddy of mine has a bear skull - he put one right in the head of that bear, and the skull looks terrific! Quite a conversation starter, bear skull with bullet hole! A buff would be even better! Guy
