The 1984 limited production model. Bought mine in '88 - and shoot it. Real sweetheart of a rifle.

Someone's missing out here. Mine's dead nuts accurate and a joy to have around. Use it for chucks, deer, and my first pronghorn. Definitely one of my go-to rifles.

Now you've got me thinking about getting a scope and all the fixings to load for it and put it to use. These things are listing for 1200 on GB but I don't think they are getting that. But I think the price is fair so I may just keep it if it don't sell soon. Thanks for the bump.

Great rifle and great price - especially with the box!! I have taken a bunch of whitetails with mine and a pronghorn - hunted with it exclusively from 1984-1992. Still take it out occasionally and it is exceptionally accurate with 75g Sierras and 100 Nosler SBBTs! Whoever gets this rifle will surely be happy with it and RJL53 if you decide to keep it you won't be sorry - good luck either way!!

I am also a member of the 250 Sav. M-700 Classic club. It is one of my favorite rifles and it is very accurate. Someone will be very happy with this rifle, and to get it in such like-new condition is a real bonus for a rifle of this age.

I have one of these as well. I gave it to my oldest for his first CF rifle. So far, two for two in the big game department. I bought it because it's a 250 and made in 1984. The year the Gipper won 49 out of 50 states.

The OP first posted this rifle to the classifieds on June of 2017 and still hasn't sold it. GEZZZZ! A smart seller would take the offer that was made. The OP is either stubborn, stupid or both.

If anyone is interested, there's one NIB from a collection selling for $800 at Great Guns in Liberty MO. Phone number is (816) 781-2323. Also two .257 Roberts, a 7mm Weatherby and a .300 Weatherby, all NIB Classics. There was also a NIB 700 BDL 8mm Rem Mag.
