I believe all Contender 7mm barrels are 1 in 10, but I haven't measured mine to verify.

Oops, I just checked the Eabco site and it stated that 1 in 9 was the twist on factory T/C barrels in 7-30.

Neat little round. I had one in an Encore for a bit but sent it down the road to get back a rifle I regretted selling a few months prior.

Never really "worked" up a load for it, just fireformed brass. Was planning on using a 140 Ballistic Tip for deer as this is a bullet BobbyTomek has had great success with in the Waters as well as 7mm Bullberry..

I am thinking of another Waters on a Contender frame but also have the itch for the 6.5x30-30, too many decisions.
