bu now the polar bears will starve because the ice is to thick! OH ! the horror!

“This is climate change fully in action – affecting our ability to make use of marine resources and transport things.” Yes, extra thick ice, caused by unusual COLD, can do that. That's hilarious.

If you all would read reliable news sources, you'd find that the ice breaker was diverted to assist smaller craft having trouble with the melting ice flow and and unusual ice break-up... but go ahead and keep reading Breitbart and the likes, suits you all....

Nothing to worry about ..........overall trend wise that is: Nope, nothing happening here, look away: Overview of Conditions: Arctic sea ice extent for May 2017 averaged 12.74 million square kilometers (4.92 million square miles), the fourth lowest in the 1979 to 2017 satellite record. This contrasts strongly with the past several months, when extent tracked at satellite-era record lows. May 2017 extent was 710,000 square kilometers (274,000 square miles) below the 1981 to 2010 long-term average, and 660,000 square kilometers (255,000 square miles) above the previous record low set in 2016. Sea ice extent remained below average in the Pacific sector of the Arctic and in the Barents Sea, but was slightly above average in Baffin Bay and Davis Strait towards the Labrador Sea. Ice extent was at average levels in the Greenland Sea. In the Chukchi Sea, extent was at record low levels for May. The above from this weblink: https://nsidc.org/arcticseaicenews/Geno PS Of course, those folks don't know what they're measuring, or how to measure it, I think they just like to make s**t up.

Phil You'll like this one too. Its from one of your heros who also said the best way to fight global warming is with communism. Sorry, it didnt come from CNN. http://www.investors.com/politics/editorials/climate-change-scare-tool-to-destroy-capitalism/

AlGore didn't invent climate change just to be ridiculed and laughed at by people....... He did it to get other people's money.

PS Of course, those folks don't know what they're measuring, or how to measure it, I think they just like to make s**t up. wink I KNOW they like to make things up, but also believe they know exactly what they are doing and why. The why has nothing to do with the climate, just money and the destruction of capitalism.
We may know the time Ben Carson lied, but does anyone know the time Hillary Clinton told the truth?

Why is it that these "scientists" refuse to use the scientific method to prove their theory? 1) Develop a reliable way to measure climate that doesn't require that the date be fixed to conform to their theory. 2) Record the theory's predictions for 1,000 years into the future. The science is settled so all the models should have the same predictions. 3) Compare the climate measurements with the predictions for 1,000 years. If the predictions match the data then the theory should be considered valid. Until this happens the advocates should be considered snake oil salesmen and their theory ignored.

They hold up science as the last word, but fail to follow the scientific method. Probably the biggest bunch of bull, comes from the belief that computer models are correct. Heck, you can make them do whatever you want.
