Can they not just get pills instead of injections?

Inject 'em with formaldehyde! It's a start toward where they're going anyway!

Actually, it's a great idea. Since Seattle doesn't have the authority to nullify federal drugs laws, the feds know exactly where to arrest a bunch of offenders. They can arrest half the city officials for pushing.

Seattle is so far down the liberal shet hole there is no redemption for them. I live 35 miles away and you could not pay me to go to Seattle.

Unfortunately, I have to spend 3 days in Seattle at Swedish Medical for some treatments - I am definitely not looking forward to being there. I think their stink will rub off.

I fail to see a problem with overdoses. Society gets rid of problem people and it keeps grave diggers busy. Eventually, they will all die off. What's the problem?

I hope they are offering daycare too. The new thing is "adult summer camps." I chit you not. Unfortunately, I have to spend 3 days in Seattle at Swedish Medical for some treatments - I am definitely not looking forward to being there. I think their stink will rub off. I hope it isn't neuro/spine stuff. I'm sure you're seen that in the news. Hope everything turns out well. I fail to see a problem with overdoses. Society gets rid of problem people and it keeps grave diggers busy. Eventually, they will all die off. What's the problem? I don't have a problem either, except these people seem to be largely homeless living on the streets, and leaving needles everywhere, with all the other tangential crime that goes along with hard drug use.
It's about like this:
"Do you puff peters?"
"Hell no!"
"NAZI!!!"

Don't arrest them just make sure they get enough of their drug of choice and stand back.
Things will slow down in a short while.

More homeless turds will show up, exacerbating the problem. AND it is a problem. I've been downtown Seattle a number of times in the past couple of years and while I've never felt threatened, I certainly was irritated as h311 about the panhandlers and the street scum. They're everywhere and too flipping many are rather aggressive. You wouldn't believe some of the hobo camps.
