A friend of mine just shot a tattoo grizzly. It was collared in 2013 for six weeks. It was in the Nelchina study. It killed 27 caribou caves, 9 moose calves and 6 unknown calves. It also 2 killed 2 adult moose and a swan. If some one can post a photo for me, I'll emailed it to you. I'll see if I can cut & paste the report from AK fish & game. I'm a Neanderthal on this computer stuff.

That is the perfect example of a bear badly in need of killing!
Lone large boars sometimes turn into calf-killing specialists and kill all out of proportion to the normal.
Mark Begich, Joaquin Jackson, and Heller resistance... Three huge reasons to worry about the NRA.
Tiny bear to be a calving specialist, but is probably quite old. Tremendous trophy to have the tattoo and history, screw the cranial count and squares.

He squared 8'3", skull was 23" and change. Approx 10 years old. This is all posted in another forum. I'll see if I can get the other info moved. Not sure why "tiny" bears can't be calf killing specialists? That guide must feel like a jackwagon For shooting such a small bear only to be saved by the uniqueness of a tattooed bear! Ha
