Fantastic penetration and text book mushroom with 75% weight retention. I'd say that's adequate.

Should be a ripper for that rifle. It's pretty accurate as well.

This is the only Scirocco I've recovered. I've used 22, 7mm & 30 caliber versions on critters. This was a 75gr from a 223AI, took out the onside 'knuckle', shattered in a bunch of pieces. It was found bulging on the offside hide. Deer was only about 30 yards out so I'll say it hit at about 3000fps. Weighs 65 grains and measures .530

Nice reporting Beretz and Steelie, 25 cal deer/antelope/pig slayer there B, have though about loading some 75 gr SCII's for my 7 twist 223/5.56 AR's Steelhead, thinking they'd leave a pretty good mark.

Thanks for that SH. I've got an 8 twist 22-250 coming and that 75 grain Swift is going to be the number one bullet if it shoots. That bullet looks excellent. Talk about a crusher.

Interesting gentleman. I am gonna put this bullet through the wringer this late summer at the range(Phoenix Az-120 degrees outside,no thank you for the time being!) In 257 Weatherby Magnum. Loaded very fast. Gonna see what a 6.5 will do in my new swede I just got.

Just the few I've seen in action have worked incredible. I am going to put the 210's to the test shortly in my 338.

"Crusher" is what I was thinking along the lines of the 75's in my house AR's, overcoming barriers ie, walls, heavy clothing, home appliances, car doors etc, should be a good little puncher.

And not to sidetrack your thread any longer, but, am I correct in remembering you pulled some heavier 338/348 cal bullets from the 5th jug too, if so, that's quit a bit of penetration from the little 25, serious stuff Buddy.

For sure Gunner. The little 25's gets it done pretty well. The great Bullets we have nowadays really let that sucker shine.

Absolutely, had I not got in a hurry and did a little more experimenting I'd never have AI'd my M-70 25-06 custom.

Gunner, I have a long throated .25/06 that is within a few FPS of your A1 loads with handloads and its 26" tube. After loading for 4 .257 Wby's over the last 40 years, I never re-chambered and have a 5+1 capacity, which incidentally, I have never needed while hunting.

This was a 75gr from a 223AI, Weighs 65 grains and measures .530 .530 is quite impressive for a .224 caliber bullet !!
